2009 Christmas

This year we have 36,000 lights and are running 11 songs. Using 3 differrent colors in display red, green, and white. Broadcasting on radio station 93.7 FM.

Why do I do this?

I have always loved Christmas Lights, Music, and Computers. This was a way to combine all three to make something different for others to enjoy. Makes me feel good when people tell me about how good a job i did, and the Christmas cards I get from people that don't even know me but love the display.

How much electricity does this all use?

You might be surprised to learn the answer is not as much as you think!  The reason is that it’s rare that all of the lights in the display are not on for any length of time.  We expect that even with over 36,000 lights in our display our electricity bill will only be about $50 more than normal!
